“We will mark the 2nd anniversary of the liberation of Azerbaijani lands which were under occupation for 28 years,” said chairman of Turkish Grand National Assembly Mustafa Shentop at the 7th International Congress of Social Sciences, co-organized by the Milli Majlis, the Turkish Grand National Assembly and the International Balkan University, ONA reports.
According to M. Shentop, within the framework of the congress, the scientists will pay attention to the occupation lasting about 30 years, martyrs, and the heartbreaking Khojaly massacre: “Karabakh has recently started to dress its wounds. We need historians, writers, psychologists, and economists who can explain to us the damage caused by this occupation. I was also thinking that we knew something about Shusha, especially Fuzuli, prior to my visit to the liberated lands. On our first visit, we saw Shusha. However, I wanted to see Fuzuli. We stopped somewhere when returning from Shusha. And I say that we want to see Fuzuli. They said that these ruins are Fuzuli. However, we expected the city. We should show Armenian atrocity, how cruel they are, the destroyer of culture and nature.”
