Electricity (USD 30,5 million) was in the first place in the list of non-oil products exported from Azerbaijan. Raw cotton without seeds stands in the second (USD 25,9 mln.) and peeled nuts(USD 24,7 mln.) in a third of the list, ONA reports.
In general, in January-February of 2019, export of fruits and vegetables amounted to USD 76 mln., export of electricity amounted to USD 30,5 mln., export of plastics and plastics products amounted to USD 30,1 mln., export of cotton fiber amounted to USD 26 mln., export of aluminium and its products amounted to USD 13.5 mln., export of chemical products amounted to USD 12,6, exports of ferrous metals and its products amounted to USD 6,6 mln., export of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages amounted to USD 4,1 mln., exports of cotton yarn amounted to 3,7 mln.
In January-February of current year, exports of cotton fibre increased by 2,6 times, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages by 2,5 times, export of chemical products by 90%, electricity exports by 50%, export of fruits and vegetables by 30 %, plastics and plastic products by 26 % compared to the same period of previous year.
