Azerbaijan's non-oil GDP increases by 5.7%

In January-August of 2021, the country's gross domestic product amounted to 54 730,2 million manats or 3,6% more than compared to the same period of the previous year, ONA reports citing State Statistics Committee.

Value added in the oil and gas sector of the economy decreased by 1,2%, while in the non-oil and gas sector it increased by 5,7%.

40,4% of GDP production is industrial, 10,4% is trade; repair of vehicles, 7.2% transport and warehousing, 6.5% agriculture, forestry and fishing, 5% construction, 1.8% information and communication, 1.1% tourist accommodation and catering, 18,4% to other areas, net taxes on products and imports amounted to 9.2% of GDP.

GDP per capita amounted to 5 466,1 manats.
