In the first quarter of the current year, 8,15 mln. tons of oil exported through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline and this figure is 1,3% less compared to the same period of 2018, State Statistical Committee told ONA.
During the reporting period, 1,2 mln. ton transit oil exported through the BTC pipeline and this is 22,1% less than in the first quarter of the previous year
“10 005,4 thousand tons of oil were transported through main oil pipelines. 81,5% of the transport was carried out via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline and 8 150,2 thousand tons of oil were transported via this pipeline during the first quarter of 2019,” the Committee stated.
