Despite price pressure on petrochemical products worldwide, Turkey's Petkim petrochemical complex, which is owned by SOCAR, has maintained its record in sales and profitability this year, ONA reports citing Anadolu Agency.
According to the information, General Director of Petkim Anar Mammadov has made a statement regarding this.
According to him, the sales of the complex increased by 51% compared to the first quarter of last year.
Note that, “Petkim” petrochemical complex's net profit in the first quarter of this year amounted to 144 million Turkish liras, which is 14% more than in the same period of the last year. In January-March of the current year, the benefits of “Petkim” have amounted to 2,83 billion liras.
