The overwhelming part of oil produced in Azerbaijan falls on ACG

279 million tons out of 481 million tons of oil extracted in Azerbaijan have fallen on Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) field block, the First Vice President of SOCAR Khoshbakht Yusifzade said at the 4th SOCAR International Caspian and Central Asia Downstream Forum – Trading, Logistics, Refining, Petrochemicals, ONA reports.

According to him, 481 million tons of oil has been extracted in Azerbaijan so far. 506 million oils were exported from Azerbaijan and  383 million tons of these were transported through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline.

Referring to gas export, Yusifzadeh noted that 1,6 billion cubic meters of gas was transported through the Trans-Anatolian gas pipeline.
