Turkey to sign contract with Azerbaijan and Pakistan in space field

“Our contracts with Azerbaijan and Pakistan in the field of space activities are ready, we have reached the stage of signing,” Turkish Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank told Anadolu Agency, ONA’s bureau in Turkey reports.

Minister noted that Turkey had signed contracts with three countries on space activities.

Note that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced 10 national cosmic programs in Turkey and gave information about the activity of the Turkish Cosmic Agency yesterday. He spoke about Turkey's plans to land on the moon by 2023 and plans to train an astronaut who is a Turkish citizen. Turkish President named oriental astronomers such as al-Fargani, al-Sufi, al-Biruni, al-Jazeera and wished that the equivalent of the word astronaut to be found in Turkish.
