The Ministry of Emergency Situations has released information about the fire that broke out in the building of ITV (Public Television), APA reports quoting website of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
“The relevant forces and techniques of the Ministry's State Fire Protection Service and Special Risk Rescue Service were immediately involved in the incident and the fire was extinguished,” reads information released by the Ministry.
A fire broke out in the building of Public Television in Sharifzade Street, Yasamal district of Baku, APA reporrts.
The incident started on the third floor of the building and spread on the upper floors of the building. It is not yet known what caused the fire.
According to preliminary information, two TV employees were injured by smoke poisoning during the incident.
At present, the fire is being extinguished in the area by Several firefighter units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
