Prosecutor General's Office: Objective investigation into Elina Hajiyeva's criminal case underway

The Prosecutor General’s Office spread information about the investigation of the criminal case on the death of Elina Hajiyeva, APA reports.

According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, Sevinj Abbasova, director of the secondary school No. 162 in the Sabail district of Baku, involved as the accused in a criminal case on a suicide of the 8th grade student Elina Hajiyeva.

In order to ensure a comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of the criminal case, the Investigation team is conducting the necessary investigative measures with the involvement of specialists.

The parents of the deceased and the media were informed about the results of the petitions filed by the legal successor Elina Hajiyeva’s lawyers, Sevil Huseinova. Despite this, the relatives of the injured party held a press conference trying to influence the normal course of the investigation.

 

A petition on the formation of the forensic medical examination team was not satisfied as the commission appointed by the commission for the forensic medical examination commission was formed by a team of highly qualified specialists of the Ministry of Health before the petition was filed by the lawyers of Sevil Huseynova.

 

Another petition for confrontation between the first deputy head of the Executive Power of the Sabail District, Khalida Bayramova, interviewed as a witness in the case and Sevil Guseinova, was not satisfied in accordance with the requirements of the procedural law as no diference in testimony was recorded.
