Wolverhampton sign Azerbaijan international striker Renat Dadashov

Wolverhampton Wanderers have signed highly-rated striker Renat Dadashov - and immediately loaned him out to Portuguese club Pacos de Ferreira, ONA reports citing Birmingham Mail.

The 20-year-old has joined Wolves from Estoril before heading straight back to Portugal on loan. Dadashov was born in Germany to an Azerbaijani family and began his youth career at Eintracht Frankfurt. He then spent three years in Red Bull Leipzig’s academy before returning to Frankfurt in 2017.

The forward joined Estoril last summer, signing a two-year contract, and scored four times in 22 appearances in the Primeira Liga.

Dadashov made his debut for Azerbaijan against San Marino in 2017, aged 18, and has three caps in total. The striker has also represented Germany at youth level and scored a staggering 13 goals in 15 appearances for their under-17s.
