Members of “Azerbaijani Community of Nagorno Karabakh Region” Public Union have met with assistants of representatives of US Congress, ONA reports.
Chairman of the Board of the Community Tural Ganjaliyev informed the employees of Congress about Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, occupation of 20% of Azerbaijani territories, ethnic cleansing of more than 1 million Azerbaijanis, and existence of refugees and internally displaced people for 30 years. Assistants of Congress members got acquainted with the situation of religious and cultural monuments at the territories occupied by Armenians via slide presentations.
Tural Ganjaliyev stated that 4 UNSC resolutions that envisaged withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from occupied territories have not been fulfilled for more than 27 years as a result of the double standards. He also stressed that Azerbaijani Community of Nagorno Karabakh region has 87000 members.
T.Ganjaliyev has expressed that he hopes for peaceful solution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict within territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
