MFA: "Representative" of separatist regime personally witnessed that occupation regime was not recognized by Argentina

“The information spread by Armenian media on the visit of the "representative" of the so-called separatist regime created in the occupied Azerbaijani territories aimed to promote the illegal regime and this is nothing but self-deception,” Spokesperson of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Leyla Abdullayeva told ONA while commenting the meeting held by "foreign minister" of separatist regime in Argentina.

“I would like to note that the representative of the separatist regime, who participated in events dedicated to the so-called "Armenian genocide" organized by the Armenian community of Buenos Aires University of Law, did not meet with any state officials in Argentina. Moreover, the Argentinean Armenian Institutions organization expressed its deep concern over the publication of the note by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship on April 24, 2019. Thus, the Argentinean Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship mentioned in its note that Article 2 of the UN Charter of Argentina considered that the principle of non-interference in the other State's internal affairs and respect for the territorial integrity of the State was considered as a fundamental pillar of international peace and security, Emphasizes that the Republic of Argentine Republic does not recognize the "Nagorno-Karabakh Republic" or "Artsakh" as declaring its independence as an independent and sovereign state within the framework of international law. In this regard, it is advisable not to accept the "foreign minister" of Nagorno-Karabakh and hold official meetings with him.

As you can see, the representative of the separatist regime visiting this country has personally witnessed that the international community, including Argentina does not recognize illegal occupation.

At the same time, I would like to state that at that time Emilio Monzo, President of the Chamber of Deputies of the National Congress of Argentina, for the first time in his official visit to our country, stated at all of these meetings expressed his country interested in deepening cooperation with Azerbaijan in all spheres, "said the Foreign Ministry spokesperson.
