Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov commented on the implementation of humanitarian measures between Azerbaijan and Armenia, ONA's Russian bureau reports.
At a joint press conference on the outcome of his meeting with OSCE Secretary General Thomas Greminger Mr Lavrov said that there is little optimism about the issue of exchanging detainees between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
"Dialogue is underway with the OSCE Secretariat on the mutual visit of journalists. There is hope. There is little optimism about the change of detainees. But we will continue to work in this direction," he said.
The Russian Foreign Minister said that held meeting with the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia with the participation of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group in April of this year in Moscow and discussed conducting humanitarian measures between Azerbaijan and Armenia on the settlement of the Nagorno Garabagh conflict in detail.
“Open discussions were held. We discussed the exchange of dead bodies and detainees, as well as mutual visits of journalists, "Lavrov said.
