State Commission: 58 Armenian nationals who detained in Azerbaijan have been returned

"On September 27, the Azerbaijani Army defeated the enemy during a counter-offensive. The blood of our martyrs did not remain on the ground and revenge was taken. According to paragraph 8 of the tripartite statement of November 10, 2020, prisoners of war, hostages, as well as bodies must be exchanged," Ismayil Akhundov, head of the working group of the State Commission on Captives, Missing, and Hostages, said this at a press conference today, ONA reports.

According to him, the State Commission unilaterally issued a decree on December 2, December 9, December 11, and others. Armenian citizens, as well as Armenian servicemen, were extradited to Armenia: “On December 14, 2020, 14 citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan were released from Armenian captivity, as well as held hostage and brought to their homeland. According to the tripartite statement, the last trial took place on December 28. 58 Armenian nationals detained in Azerbaijan have been returned. 5 servicemen and 2 civilians are still detained in Azerbaijan. Two civilians are detained on the opposite side.
