“Azerbaijan needs information support from Turkish-speaking states” the Azerbaijani President`s Assistant for Public and Political Affairs Ali Hasanov told journalists, ONA reports.
He said that the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict is one of the most complex conflicts in the region and the world: “There is an occupier in this conflict and a party that has been subjected to the occupation. We need informational support from Turkic-speaking states. ”
A. Hasanov noted that it is necessary to strengthen information integration among the member countries of the Cooperation Council of the Turkic-speaking States: “During the April fights in 2016, Azerbaijan needed information support. It was necessary to demonstrate to the world and the entire region the Armenian provocations, the occupation policy they are pursuing in the region, as well as their destruction of the cultural and religious sites of Azerbaijan. Therefore, in such cases, the member countries of the Cooperation Council of the Turkic-speaking States should support each other ”.
