Azerbaijani Embassy to Russia releases information on the article, published on “Nezavisimaya Gazeta” against Azerbaijan

Azerbaijani Embassy to Russia has released information on the article, published on “Nezamisimaya Gazeta” against Azerbaijan, ONA’s Moscow correspondent reports.

Information of the press service of the Embassy has been published on “Nezavisimaya Gazeta” regarding its article which is full of lie views on Syrian fighters’ so-called “preparation” for war against Armenia in Azerbaijan, prepared by the commentator of the newspaper Vladimir Mukhin.

It has been noted in the information that headline of the known article has caused a negative resonance in the Azerbaijani community, let its content aside: “When the article is read, it is obvious that its being politically wrong and biased is obvious. We think that immoral tricks have been used, when the article was written, only purpose is misleading reader. We consider that presented material is based on probabilities and presumptions, it does not have any factual basis. At the same time, you can see the attempt of presentation of the fact of conduction of Azerbaijani-Turkish military training recently as a ground for settlement of foreign military base in the country.”

It has been noted that Azerbaijani Defense Ministry released information and resolutely rejected information on resettlement of Syrian fighters in the country. Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs also released a similar statement. It has been stressed in the statement that the mentioned article is slander and disinformation by nature, a manifestation of an ugly campaign against Azerbaijan.

“It should especially be noted that current high level of relations between Azerbaijan and Russia and the existing potential of bilateral relations allow solving all complex issues in the international and regional agenda”, noted in the information of the Embassy.
