A congratulatory letter of Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov is read to The 53rd General Assembly of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC), ONA reports.
The letter reads that the activity of this organization is aimed at developing mutual cooperation.
E. Mammadyarov stated that cooperation is important in the fields of trade, transport, energy, tourism, agriculture and IT for Azerbaijan as a full member of BSEC: “Besides that during its presidency in BSEC, Azerbaijan implemented a number of measures to strengthen trade relations and regional trade. At the same time, efforts have been made in the direction of advance cross borders and develop cooperation. I hope that such important areas of cooperation will always be in the spotlight during the presidency of the next country.”
E. Mammadyarov noted in his letter that the prosperity of the Black Sea region can be provided by good neighborhood, mutual understanding, and tolerance in the future. “In this regard in accordance with the principles envisaged in the Istanbul Summit Declaration, Azerbaijan urges to improve efforts on the increase of peace, stability, and development in BSEC countries. I wish success to the General Assembly. I believe the conducted works will give an important impetus to our cooperation.”
