“The provocations committed against buildings of Azerbaijan’s diplomatic missions abroad, as well as against peaceful Azerbaijani demonstrators represent in substance the acts of vandalism and terrorism, and bear criminal character”, says the statement issued today by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ONA reports.
It is noted in the statement that these criminal actions based on hatred are resolutely condemned: “According to the Vienna Convention, the prevention of attacks on the diplomatic missions and diplomats is the obligation of the host country. Azerbaijan appeals to the friendly countries and demands investigation of the actions committed against our diplomatic missions and diplomats, and the Azerbaijanis. The Azerbaijani state always stands by our compatriots. The necessary instruction has been given to our diplomatic missions in regard to ensuring of provision of legal assistance to our compatriots”.
