“We have surprised by the reaction to the travel advice of the British government”, said in the statement of the British Embassy in Azerbaijan, ONA reports.
It is stated that recommendations regarding crimes and security have not been updated in travel advice and remained unchanged: “Travel advice is an elaborated document that helps us to implement our responsibilities to care about British citizens. This is not the subject of negotiations. We have updated our travel advice on May 1, last time. We included latest technical transitions regarding the Istanbul Airport in the latest update. The stylistics of the language we choose for travel advices contains elaborated, balanced language supported by the facts. For example, the travel advice regarding the visits to the Nagorno Karabakh and other occupied territories always expresses our respect to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan recognized by the international law”.
