Chairmen of Azerbaijani and Georgian Parliament discussed the situation around the Keshikchidag complex

Today, the situation around the Keshikchidag monastery complex was discussed at the meeting between the chairman of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Ogtay Asadov and the chairman of the Georgian parliament, Irakli Kobaxidze, ONA reports.

Speaker O. Asadov said that Azerbaijan and Georgia are strategic partners, no one can separate the two nations.

O.Asadov emphasized that the problems should be resolved in the spirit of strategic partnership: "The Commission has been established with the participation of both countries. The second meeting of the Commission on delimitation and demarcation of state borders between Azerbaijan and Georgia will be held in Tbilisi in late June. We are confident that the commission will do its best to resolve the issues properly. I am convinced that no one can break friendships between Azerbaijan and Georgia".

In his turn, the Georgian parliament speaker Irakli Kobaxidze noted that delimitation and demarcation of borders should be settled within the framework of the rules.
