“Generally, cooperation between the EU and Azerbaijan is developing very successfully,” Azerbaijani FM Elmar Mammadyarov said at the 1st panel discussion titled “Achievements and Challenges in Delivering Concrete Results to Citizens” of a high-level conference dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Eastern Partnership Program, ONA reports.
He stated that 42 percent of Azerbaijan's export goes to the EU market: “EU is the largest investor in Azerbaijan's economy. Economic relations are developing. We are negotiating on a comprehensive strategic agreement. This is a bilateral document. I should sincerely say that this is not easy. We are discussing economic and commercial issues as fast as possible. This is a very important document."
