President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan has sent a letter to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, ONA reports.
The letter reads:
"Mr. President, my dear brother.
May Allah grant rest to the people who died in Azerbaijan due to the COVID-19 pandemic that engulfed the whole world, and I wish those who continue their treatment a speedy recovery. On behalf of my nation and myself, I extend my deepest condolences to the brotherly people of Azerbaijan for those who lost their lives.
We are closely following the effective measures and activities you are taking against the pandemic in Azerbaijan. I wish success to everyone who struggles in this field.
We are ready to provide every support we possibly can to the friendly and brotherly Azerbaijan under “One nation, two states” motto. In this framework, we ensure delivery to your country of the medical aid supplies that can be useful even to the least extent for the fight of brotherly Azerbaijan against the pandemic.
Availing from this opportunity, we express once again that we stand side by side with Azerbaijan in the fight against the pandemic, on behalf of my people and on my own behalf, I convey from the bottom of my heart my health and happiness wishes to Your Excellency and tranquility and welfare to the brotherly Azerbaijani people".
