The first meeting of Azerbaijani-Georgian border demarcation commission to be held next week, Georgian FM David Zalkaliani said, ONA reports.
According to him, Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia Lasha Darsalia has been appointed co-chair of the commission from Georgia.
Creation of a commission on the David Gareji monastery has begun today, Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze said before a government session, ONA reports citing Interpressnews.
He noted that an agreement has already been reached and creation of the commission has started.
“Azerbaijan is a friendly country. We are strategic partners. This issue will be solved in this spirit,” the prime minister added.
