Kremlin regrets Erdogan's statement on annexation of Crimea, before his visit to Russia

Kremlin has regretted Erdogan's statement on the annexation of Crimea before his visit to Sochi, said the head of the press service Dmitry Peskov, ONA’s Moscow bureau reports.

“Of course, we consider ourselves as the address of this statement, and we accept it so. Certainly, we regret that this statement was voiced at the time when the official visit of the Turkish President to Russia is prepared. Despite this, we prefer to pay attention to reciprocal relations in solving hot regional problems between our countries which are on the agenda. When it comes to Turkey’s this position, we know it well. We do not agree with this position at all. We will continue to work with the Turkish side,” stressed D. Peskov.
