Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov confirmed on the air of the "Russia 1" channel that Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan would meet in Astana, ONA's Moscow correspondent reports.
"It is not the first time that our partners have publicized some initiatives. They draw attention to it but then see how who will react to it. It is clear to me that if our Turkish colleagues have thought about it, they will have great opportunities this week. They can put such issues before us during the meeting between Putin and Erdogan in Astana. We haven't heard anything other than the publicized announcement," said the Russian Foreign Minister.
