On July 31, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev made a phone call to the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, ONA reports.
The information in this regard has been disseminated by the Press Service of the President.
The report says the head of our state congratulated Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the brotherly Turkish people on occasion of the sacred Eid al-Adha holiday, and conveyed his wishes of strong health to the President of Turkey and prosperity to the Turkish people.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed his gratitude for the paid attention and for congratulation, and in his turn, conveyed his best wishes to our people on occasion of the holiday.
During the conversation, the satisfaction was expressed regarding development from day to day of the brotherly Turkey-Azerbaijan relations, the confidence in strengthening of our relations from now on was stated. The heads of the states stressed the successful implementation of the Azerbaijan-Turkey joint military training in various regions of Azerbaijan in recent days, and evaluated this as another manifestation of Turkey-Azerbaijan friendship and brotherhood relations.
President Ilham Aliyev highly appreciated the resolute support provided by the President of Turkey in connection with the incidents occurred recently as a result of Armenia’s military provocation on Azerbaijan-Armenia border.
The heads of the states discussed the issues related to the perspectives of the successful development of our cooperation in various spheres.
