President Ilham Aliyev had a phone conversation with President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, ONA reports citing press service of Kremlin.
During the telephone conversation, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev shared his views and opinion with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin about the meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Vienna on March 29.
Putin stressed the importance of activation of the negotiation process between Baku and Yerevan. He said that Russia is ready to continue to help to find ways to resolve Nagorno-Karabakh conflict peacefully within the framework of the OSCE Minsk group.
During the discussion of bilateral issues on the agenda, the heads of states expressed satisfaction with the expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation in various spheres.
