Members of the working group on Georgian-Azerbaijani interparliamentary relations of Milli Majlis have met with the delegation of Georgian parliament that came to our country to participate at the trilateral meeting of foreign relations committees of Azerbaijani-Turkish-Georgian parliaments, ONA reports.
The delegation was led by the chair of the foreign relations committee of the Georgian Parliament Sofio Katsarava.
Head of the working group on Georgian-Azerbaijani interparliamentary relations Aflatun Amashov noted that our relations are established in high level and stressed that friendship and partnership relations continue and develop successfully.
Zviad Dzidziguri, deputy chairman of the Georgian Parliament, Chairman of the Georgia-Azerbaijan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group, stated that Interparliamentary relations are intensive. He mentioned cooperation between countries was regularly improving: “We well appreciate friendship ties with Azerbaijan”.
Sofio Katsarava, Head of Delegation, the Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee of Georgian Parliament, said she hoped her first official visit to Azerbaijan would continue. She mentioned that our deputies profitably collaborate in both international organizations and bilateral relations: “We feel the support of Azerbaijan in this issue too. Azerbaijan and Georgia are able to tackle all issues in the frame of friendship and cooperation.”
