“I would like to thank the government of Azerbaijan for the hospitality shown to the refugees”, Gulam Isagzai UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan said at the event dedicated to World Refugee Day, ONA reports.
G.Isagzai said that international refugees in Azerbaijan have access to essential services, including primary and secondary education, primary health care services. “The UN is ready to provide any aid that the government needs in improving refugee situation”
G.Isagzai emphasized that the number of forced abductions in the world has increased two times in the last 20 years. Currently, 70 million people are suffering from this situation.
