“We understand the calls of the international community for a ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh. Nobody wants a war,” said Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu at a joint press conference with his Swedish counterpart Ann Linde, ONA reports.
He noted that along with the ceasefire, Armenia should be called on to withdraw from Azerbaijani territories.
“Armenia should be reminded of UN Security Council resolutions and OSCE decisions. If Armenia is called on to withdraw from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, then we can say that the international community is really interested in the resolution of the conflict. However, unfortunately, this call is not being made. In short, as the Minsk Group, we should meet in an expanded format soon and decide what to do,” head of Turkey’s Foreign Ministry emphasized.
