“The order about significant increase of pensions first of all can be considered as another visual manifestation of the principle “the Azerbaijani citizen is at the heart of our policy” principle stated by President Ilham Aiyev”, wrote on his page at Facebook social network Ali Ahmadov, Deputy Prime Minister, ONA reports.
He said President Ilham Aliyev signed an order on increasing the labor pensions on February 6: “Based on the order, it has been envisaged to increase all labor pensions by 16.6 percent beginning from January 1. It is necessary to confess that the increase of pensions significantly, as mentioned before, by 16.6 percent is a considerable addition to family budget of approximately 1.2 million people making up a large category of the country’s population. If we take into consideration the increase of the minimum level of pensions by over 70% just a few months ago, it will be possible to imagine the scale of care and support provided by the state to the improvement of living standards of pensioners by direct instruction of President Ilham Aliyev”.
The deputy prime minister noted that endless care for a human, to improve the living conditions of people - the main aim of the Azerbaijani government: “A phenomenon indestructible unity of people with the power has appeared namely for this reason.”
