Dusty weather has been observed in Baku and the Absheron peninsula since the morning hours of July 23. Dusty weather condition is local, National Hydrometeorological Service told APA.
The cause of dusty weather is the rise of dust masses formed in the upper layer of the soil to the upper layers of the atmosphere as a result of the strengthening of the northwest wind.
According to the information received from automatic monitoring stations, the amount of dust in the air is 4.3 times higher than the sanitary norm.
Depending on the weather conditions, dusty weather is expected to continue for the next 2 days.
