Assistant to Azerbaijani President: “Individuals who got first dose of vaccine may enter public catering facilities”

“From September 1, citizens are required to have a COVID-19 passport to enter large shopping centers, hotels, cafes, restaurants and other public catering facilities. Until October 1, those who have got one of the two doses will be able to enter public catering facilities by presenting a COVID-19 passport,” Assistant to the president of Azerbaijan, Head of the Department of Economic Issues and Innovative Development Policy of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahmar Movsumov told Azertag, ONA reports.

Assistant to President said that, according to the decision of Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers, only those, who received both doses of vaccine, will be able to use services of large shopping malls, hotels, cafes, restaurants, and other public catering facilities from October 1.

Shahmar Movsumov also noted that a COVID passport or immune certificate is not required from citizens for entry to restaurants and cafes in the open air. There is not any restriction regarding COVID-19 passport in public transport, passengers are only required to use a medical mask.
