Azerbaijan to charge fees for accreditation of educational institutions

Rates of state duty for accreditation of educational institutions in Azerbaijan have been defined, ONA reports.

Corresponding changes to the Law on State Duty were discussed today at a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee for Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship.

According to Article 32-1 to be added to the law, in connection with the accreditation, 3,000 manats will be charged from pre-school education institutions, 5,000 manats – from general education institutions, 7,000 manats – from non-school education institutions, 10,000 manats – from vocational education institutions, 15,000 manats – from secondary special education institutions, 20,000 manats – from higher education institutions, 15,000 manats – from additional educational institutions, and 15,000 manats – from other institutions carrying out educational activities.

The draft law was recommended to the plenary session of the parliament.
