It has been defined that 94 people became victims of human trafficking in Azerbaijan last year, according to annual information in 2020 of the National Coordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings, ONA reports.
Of those 94 people (89 women, 3 men, 3 children), 93 are citizens of Azerbaijan, one person is a foreigner (citizen of Russia).
81 of them were taken to the Republic of Turkey for sexual exploitation, 4 to the United Arab Emirates, and 9 were subjected to forced labor within the country.
