Baku City Executive Power (BCEP) has appealed to the capital city residents and guests of the city, BCEP told ONA.
Beginning from the night, the weather will change sharply, from February 9 till the daytime on February 10, the strong north wind will flow in Baku and Absheron peninsula, it is expected that sleet and snow will fall and the snowing will be intensive in some places. The air temperature will drop, it is supposed that the roads will be covered with ice.
In this regard the people are recommended to be more careful, not park vehicles under big trees, keep away from construction sites, not leave unattended the elder people and children in the street and to comply with other safety measures.
All institutions and organizations of the capital have been warned by the Baku city Executive Power on weather condition, special equipment and snow removal vehicles of Department of Housing and Communal Services (DHCS) and other bodies have been made ready. In those days all communal and technical services of the city will work on enhanced mode.
