He said foreign and local specialists had been involved into visual inspection so that to take urgent measures and to prevent recurrence of such incidents in the future: “A decision will be made regarding the area where the rehabilitation works will be implemented in a short time after profound analysis of the current status by the specialists”.

Note that, on November 24, bad weather caused a massive landslide near Bibiheybat mosque in Sabail district of Baku, Azerbaijan.

The incident occurred in the direction of the city center. As a result, the asphalt layer of the road was destroyed. The landslide covered an area of approximately 250-300 meters.

On November 24, Baku Bukhtasi-3 Street was put into operation at noon as an alternative to landslide near the Bibiheybat mosque. However, as a result of the new landslide approximately 400 meters of Baku Bukhtasi 3 street was left under the ground. Khazar GLX LLC, as well as Shipbuilding and ship-repair facility, situated nearby, were seriously damaged.

The moment of land sliding was recorded by surveillance cameras. According to the recorded images, the Mercedes car, which was not moving, was likely to be buried under the ground.

The area was taken under control by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, security measures were tightened, and movement suspended.
