“Eid al-Adha in Azerbaijan will be celebrated on August 12-13,” Fuad Nurullayev, Deputy Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims' Office told ONA.
“According to the religious calendar, the holiday Gurban is annually celebrated on the 10th day of the month of Zilhij. In many countries, the Gurban holiday is celebrated for three days. Those who are in Hajj in Mecca also celebrate it for three days, that is, it is possible to sacrifice an animal within three days.”
The Deputy Chairman noted that the reception of appeals in connection with the Hajj will continue from August 1 to August 6.
