Extraordinary Summit of the Turkic Council through videoconferencing starts

An extraordinary Summit of the Turkic Council through videoconferencing has started, ONA reports.

The meeting has been attended by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Kyrgyzstan President Sooronbay Jeenbekov, Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban, Secretary-General of the Turkish Council Baghdad Amreyev and Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Adanom Gebreisus.

The Summit will focus on the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

At the end of the meeting, the participants will adopt a Joint Declaration.

Note that the extraordinary Summit of the Turkic Council through videoconferencing is held on the initiative of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, chairman of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States Ilham Aliyev.
