Human Rights Commissioner: Divorce cases are hard to count

“I have applied to Milli Majlis on the establishment of the Child Dependants Allowance; this issue has also been included in my annual reports for several times”, Human Rights Commissioner (Ombudsman) of Azerbaijan Elmira Suleymanova told ONA's Ganja bureau.

According to her, establishment of this Foundation is necessary: “Number of divorce cases rises critically. The Child Dependants Allowance will be a body like the State Social Protection Fund. Divorced people can apply this body and get support fund after the court decision. Then the state will take the fund back from the borrower by certain procedures obligatorily. We hope the establishment of the Child Dependants Allowance will find its positive solutions.”
