Martyred Azerbaijani serviceman buried in Tovuz region - PHOTO - UPDATED

A serviceman of Azerbaijani Army, senior soldier Mammadov Elshad Donmaz oglu, who was martyred as a result of an attempt by Armenian armed forces to use artillery to seize our positions in the direction of Tovuz on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border, was buried in his native village of Aghdam, Tovuz region, APA's local bureau reports.

The leadership of the Executive Power of the region, servicemen, and the public of the region attended the funeral ceremony.

A farewell ceremony is being held for another martyred Azerbaijani serviceman, APA reports.

A serviceman of Azerbaijani Army, senior soldier Mammadov Elshad Donmaz oglu, who martyred as a result of an attempt by Armenian armed forces to use artillery fire to seize our positions in the direction of Tovuz on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border, was brought to Aghdam village of Tovuz region.

A farewell ceremony is being held for the Martyr.

The farewell ceremony is attended by the leadership of the District Executive Power, servicemen, and the public of the district.

Note that according to the information, released by the Ministry of Defense servicemen of the Azerbaijan Army, non-commissioned officer, sergeant Sadigov Vugar Latif and senior soldier Mammadov Elshad Donmez martyred in holding off an enemy attack. Despite the efforts of our doctors, a seriously wounded serviceman of the Azerbaijan Army, soldier Dashdemirov Khayyam Mahammad also died.

The tension in the same territory of the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border continued on the night of July 13. During the fighting, a serviceman of the Azerbaijan Army senior lieutenant Makhmudov Rashad Rashid died.
