Complains about cutting and damage of trees during road construction at the Sh. Mehdiyev and A.Hagverdiev streets in Baku have been investigated on-site by the employees of The Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan, the ministry told ONA.
In the course of the investigation, it has been found that the expert opinion on the removal of trees under construction due to road construction at the above address has not been followed and no special equipment has been used during the resettlement and as a result, some of the trees were damaged.
A protocol has been drawn up on the fact and the collected materials are being prepared for the court.
The Agency has been given a "mandatory instruction" to comply with agro-technical rules during transplanting other trees in the area.
