Ministry of Health: “There are enough masks in the country for protecting from coronavirus”

“Currently, there is no suspicious case regarding coronavirus in Azerbaijan, Viktor Gasimov Head of  Sanitary Epidemiological Surveillance Department Ministry of Health told ONA.

The head of the sector noted there are enough masks in the country to avoid from the virus, there is not any problem in this regard: “There is also personal protective equipment for employees of the medical field in every medical institution. Medical equipment and medicines are enough too.

V. Gasimov also stated that in the case of necessity, Children's Infectious City Hospital 7 and Clinical Medicine Center will be used, besides the Research Institute of Pulmonary Diseases: “Medical field has enough opportunities to settle such patients to the hospitals if there is any patient affected with the virus. Hospitals of the regions have also been instructed and special wards have been allocated with the Order of the Minister of Health.”
