New DOST Centers will be put into operation in Baku, Azerbaijani Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Sahil Babayev said in plenary meeting of Azerbaijani Parliament (Milli Majlis) held today, ONA reports.
According to him, DOST Centers No 2 and 3 are planned to be put into operation soon: “DOST Center No 2 will cover Khazar and Pirallahi districts, while DOST Center 3 Nizami, Surakhani, and Sabunchu districts.”
The minister stated that 85 thousand families, in other words, 360-370 thousand people are expected to be provided with targeted state social aid next year.
S. Babayev noted that an increase is also expected in the amount of payment, given to people, in 2020: “The payments are increased almost every year. Further expansion of the self-employment program is planned next year”.
