Detecting of a new strain of coronavirus is determined by analysis of the viral genome – sequencing, TABIB told ONA.
It has been noted that according to Genetics Specialist of the National Center for Hematology and Transfusiology Aga Rza Agayev, by completely reading the genome of Sars COV-2 virus, changes noted for each sample are investigated and the effect is learned: “These analyzes are performed in genetic research centers with a new generation of sequencing devices that allow access to high genetic information (High throughput). It is planned to conduct research based on methods applied abroad.
According to the existing literature, it is known that these researches are carried out by the same methods abroad,” the information reads.
