“Works are underway to bring the orphanage Azerbaijani children at conflict zones to country. In the upcoming future, it is planned to bring some of the children from there,” Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations Sayavush Heydarov told ONA.
He stated that more than 110 men who returned from conflict zones were brought to justice: “Currently, the process is underway. The citizenships of more 400 Azerbaijani citizens who participated in conflict zones have been stripped off. They can no longer return to the country.”
S. Heydarov stated that the majority of Azerbaijani women at the conflict zone became the participants of the events: “Of them have been arrested and executed. The majority of those women are married to persons whose citizenships are unknown and gave birth to children. Abolishing of the citizenship of those women will remain on the agenda.”
