Handbags and cargo from Azerbaijan to Russia will be inspected according to the new rules by today, ONA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
According to the report, Russian customs officers will inspect passenger bags according to the new rules. New phytosanitary control rules will be put on force since August 19.
According to the new rules groceries, flowers and products of plant origin carried by vessels, aircrafts and cars will be inspected by employees of Customs Federal Service of Russia at border crossing points. If the amount of above mentioned products will be more than 5 kg, phytosanitary certificate will be required. Customs officer will confiscate products in the absence of that document.
