Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) has held elections to elect new head, Apasport.az website reports.
New president of the organization has been elected at the next conference of the Association held today.
Rovnag Abdullayev has been reelected as the President of the AFFA at the event, held in Boulevard Hotel.
The head of the organization, who was the only candidate in the elections, will lead Azerbaijan’s football until 2024.
He will work in this post for the fourth time. Rovnag Abdullayev elected AFFA’s president in 2008 for the first time, has also gained Conference’s confidence.
Note that Rovnag Abdullayev is AFFA’s third president. The head of the organization was Fuad Musayev (1992-2003) and Ramiz Mirzayev (2003-2007) until him.
