It is planned to open permanent tourism representations in Great Britain, France, Iran and South Korea in the near future, Chairman of the State Tourism Agency Fuad Nagiyev said at the 18th Azerbaijan International Travel and Tourism Fair (AITF 2019), ONA reports.
Nagiyev stated that over the past year measures were taken to introduce tourism potential of the country to the international audience: “Since the end of the previous year, six permanent tourism representations have been operating in Russia, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, India, China and Germany. Starting 2018, we are represented at various international exhibitions and events. Of course, this process will continue constantly. The goal is to inform the broader audience about the tourism potential of the country and to attract more tourists from new target markets.”
