The ambassador said that Afghanistan has faced development and challenges over the past 100 years, but the Afghan people have always struggled and are making efforts for peace and stability in the region.

Reminding Afghan President Ashraf Ghani's visit to Azerbaijan in March this year, the diplomat said various documents were signed in the areas of culture and railway construction.
Stressing that Azerbaijan will host the Non-Aligned Movement Summit in October this year, the Afghan ambassador said that his country's president and foreign minister would attend the event.
"Undoubtedly, this summit will certainly work to strengthen regional and international consensus on the fight against terror threats in the world," said Spelenai.
